We understand that sometimes a refund may be necessary, and we have established this Refund Policy to outline the conditions under which we provide refunds and the procedures for requesting them.
1. General Refund Policy
Our refund policy varies depending on the type of product or service purchased:
Consultations and Educational Materials
- Paid consultations: Refundable within 14 days if the consultation has not yet taken place
- Digital educational materials: Refundable within 14 days of purchase if not downloaded
- Webinars and online courses: Refundable up to 7 days before the scheduled date or within 7 days of purchase for on-demand content if not accessed
Solar Products and Equipment
- Standard products: Refundable within 30 days of delivery if returned in original condition
- Custom-ordered equipment: Non-refundable once the order has been processed, except in cases of manufacturing defects
- Installation services: Subject to our cancellation policy (see section 5)
Subscriptions and Recurring Services
- Prorated refunds available for the unused portion of service periods
- Cancellation must be requested at least 7 days before the next billing cycle to avoid additional charges
2. Eligible Refunds
Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:
- Defective products: If a product is received damaged or defective, we will offer a replacement or full refund
- Shipping errors: If you receive an incorrect product, we will arrange for return shipping and send the correct item or provide a refund
- Unsatisfactory service: If our services do not meet the agreed-upon specifications, we may offer a partial or full refund depending on the circumstances
- Duplicate charges: If you were charged multiple times for a single transaction, the duplicate charges will be refunded
- Cancellation within the eligible period: As outlined in section 1 for various product and service types
For physical products, the item must be returned in its original condition, unused, with all packaging and accessories. For digital products, access must not have been utilized as specified in section 1.
3. Refund Process
To request a refund, please follow these steps:

- Date of purchase
- Description of the product or service
- Reason for refund request
- Proof of purchase (receipt, order confirmation)
- Photos of damaged items (if applicable)
- Return shipping (for physical products):
- Once your refund request is approved, we will provide return shipping instructions
- Package the item securely in its original packaging if possible
- Include the return authorization number provided by our customer service team
- Ship the item to the address provided in the instructions
- Keep proof of shipping until the refund is processed
- Refund confirmation: Once we receive and inspect the returned item or verify the service cancellation, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund

4. Processing Time
Refund processing times vary depending on the payment method:
- Credit/Debit Cards: Refunds are typically processed within 3-5 business days after approval. However, it may take 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer
- Bank Transfers: Refunds via bank transfer typically take 5-7 business days to process after approval
- PayPal: Refunds are usually processed within 1-2 business days after approval
- Other payment methods: Processing times will be communicated during the refund approval process
For physical products, the refund processing time begins after we receive and inspect the returned item, which may add additional time to the process.
5. Cancellation Fees
Cancellation fees may apply in certain circumstances:
Consultation Services
- Cancellation more than 48 hours before scheduled appointment: No fee
- Cancellation within 24-48 hours: 50% of the consultation fee
- Cancellation less than 24 hours or no-show: 100% of the consultation fee
Installation Services
- Cancellation prior to site assessment: Full refund minus a £50 administrative fee
- Cancellation after site assessment but before equipment ordering: Refund minus the cost of the site assessment (typically £150-£250)
- Cancellation after equipment ordering but before installation: 25% of the total project cost or the cost of equipment and preparation (whichever is greater)
- Cancellation during installation: No refund unless otherwise agreed
Subscription Services
- Annual subscriptions cancelled early: Prorated refund for unused months minus a £25 early termination fee
- Monthly subscriptions: No cancellation fee if cancelled before the next billing cycle
6. Exclusions and Limitations
The following are generally not eligible for refunds:
- Custom or personalized products: Items that have been customized or personalized according to your specifications
- Services already performed: Consultations, installations, or other services that have already been delivered
- Digital products after access: Digital content, online courses, or downloadable materials that have been accessed, downloaded, or streamed
- Gift cards: Unless required by applicable law
- Shipping and handling fees: These are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
- Products damaged after delivery: Items damaged due to misuse, accidents, or improper handling after delivery
Additionally, refunds may be denied if:
- The refund request is made outside the eligible timeframe
- The product shows signs of use or damage not present when shipped
- Required documentation or information is not provided
- The issue reported could have been reasonably identified during the initial demonstration or installation
7. Statutory Rights
This Refund Policy does not affect your statutory rights. If you are a consumer in the European Union or United States of America, you have certain statutory rights regarding defective goods and services that cannot be limited by our policy.
Under UK consumer protection laws, you have the right to:
- A 14-day cooling-off period for most online purchases
- Receive goods that are as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality
- Have faulty items repaired or replaced, or receive a refund for unsatisfactory products or services
